When I worked on my undergrad at MT, noted the campus' high number of Wiccans, new agers, Satanists, and yes... vampires/ vampyres.
Nashville, TN has a large amount of them, and due to bullying that I personally suffered from them, I do feel this is an issue.
Goth went out of style 25 yrs ago, but those that were into vampirism never changed, and were never was able to get out of their occultism.
Many into vampyreism hated me personally, and even stated that they could "see my mantel," or anointing for the ministry, even when I was only 19 years old. This happened on many different occasions by different occultists, but seem to really heighten with those professing to be vampires.
They do exist, and in highly liberal areas they are in large numbers. Not many deliverance ministries are able to deal with their deliverance needs, although there have been ministries such as one called "The Black Ribbon," in Europe that have worked in this area. I would suggest not to approach any into vampirism with a strong condemning attitude, only to let them know what a deliverance ministry is, how to find them online, in a kind gentle manner, showing them the respect that one would give to any person in the community. No sin is too far from God's reach, and not sin greater than the blood of Jesus Christ.
